I have a serious question for Mr. Burton, why do you post here? I mean you seem to not actually be a fan of the rangers, if you have a rooting interest post there all we have seen is your thoughts about the oilers, International tournaments, and a host of other non-ranger related bullsh!t. Are you just lonely you posted at one point your prof doesn't appreciate you using your phone in class your in school talk to the three dimensional people maybe one of them will like your shtick

Ottawa's pretty beat down. Karlsson didn't seem himself the last few games of the series, though even a fraction of his ability is still potent.

Gunna be pulling for the Rags in this one.

Only saw a few Ottawa games this year, so the blog helps put things together.
Sens didn't get to the 2nd round by accident. They looked pretty good against the B's, and will probably raise their game against us. Not to focus on Ranger Emeritus Brass, but you can't leave him alone for a second since the Rangers know how dangerous he can be.
Another thought is MacArthur coming back to score the series winner. Don't let Ottawa ride that emotional wave through this series.

This Ottawa team really reminds me of our squad. Especially now that I see the forward line ups together in one place. They have well balanced lines now that MacArthur is back and Ryan is producing again.
I feel like we will be able to take advantage of their defense, aside from Karlsson. But, I also feel like they are probably saying the same thing about us. Forwards, defense and goalies are pretty comparable (although I feel that Anderson's average play doesn't compare to Hanks, but when he's hot, look out!). I think this one just comes down to who is firing on all cylinders. Which means our true advantage just might turn out to be the match up of AV versus Boucher.

Agree with all of that. Both fan bases have good reason to be confident, not necessarily about the opponent but the fact that both teams had a good showing in the first round. One thing is a given, each team better bring it every night. If anyone takes a night off they are going to pay for it right away.

Only saw 2 games in their B's series, and they won both. Did they look as bad during losses as we did on Easter? Stronger, faster team than Habs, can't take a shift off. Might come down to coaching as Tony said.

I hope the Rangers PP comes around . Would be nice to make the Sens pay for any cheap poop . Also the Sens pp will be better than the offensive challenged Habs so the Rangers can't take dumb penitlies
